Guard post – Short Fall-prevention Pillar
The Nisso Stanchion is a temporary fall-prevention unit installed in places with a risk of falling, such as corridors and work floor edges and openings.
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the Scaffolding and Construction Equipment Association of Japan set the Safety Standards for the Prevention of Falling under which an Approval Standards System was implemented for short pillars mounted with fixtures and parts used for temporary protection called guard posts.

Features
The Nisso Stanchion is divided into two types: Type 1 and Type 2 according to the place of installation.
Type 1 is a protective component installed in openings for hoisting, hoisting base platforms, temporary landings, truck piers, and the tops of earth-retaining walls and stands at a height of 95 cm or more from the floor surface to the top of the upper crosspiece.
Type 2 is a protective component to provide protection in scenarios other than those in which Type 1 is used and stands at a height of 90 cm or more from the floor surface to the top of the upper crosspiece.
